Miracle of 49th Street Continued
I left off with Molly having to find a way to meet her biological father and an open view practice is scheduled for the celtics gives her the perfect chance. When the date arrives Molly with her great insight on Josh Cameron knows exactly what car he drives becuase she saw it in a magazine. She goes to the arenas parking lot and searches for his car and she finds it in the first row in a spot assigned for him. She sees kids come out the door all happy and carrying goody-bags with there parents. But she isn't extremely happy. She's confused and wants answers.
Last of all to come out is the one and only Josh Cameron. When Josh walks up to his car she pops out of no where and immediately starts talking with him. He asks who she was and she kindly introduces herself as who she is. She says her name is Molly and says who her Mom was. Josh immediately gets a shocked look on his face when he heres Jen's name. Molly goes on to explain the story as her mother did on how they met. She says that they met back in college when Josh was abroad in London on a trip. Josh begins to chuckle out of denial. He says he is suprised on how everything matches up with her age in all. But completely denies the fact that Molly could be her daughter and just drives off.
In my opinion, I think it was sorta dumb the way she approached this situation. As soon as she finds out the story on who her father is she immediately tries to confront him. I didn't think Josh was just going to believe the story and take her in. What man would just instantly believe a twelve year old claiming to be there daughter. Epecially someone as famous as he is. I'm sure famous people get tons of freaks comming up to them and saying all kinds of weird stories just to get close to him. Plus I know that a lot of famous basketball players have many affairs with many women, and to them expect to just get involved with something as big as a kid right away is just stupid to think.
Molly should have went to someone, an adult, when she found about her father. She should have gotten a complete story and a birth certificate and official proof that she is Josh's daughter. I'm not even sure myself if Molly is his daughter.
